Rhonda has been training CNA’s in the St. Louis area for 9 years. After graduating from her LPN and RN programs, Rhonda worked in numerous nursing roles in hospitals, long term care centers, and private companies for several years before she realized she had inherited the urge to teach from her mother Dolores Hester, a 30+ year educator in the St. Louis Public school system. Starting in 2009, Rhonda was a CNA instructor for the International Institute of St. Louis, the St. Louis College of Health Careers, Delmar Gardens, and St. Louis Public Schools. In 2015 Rhonda accepted her current position as the first instructor of the CNA Training Academy, helping to found the school and get the required approvals from the state of Missouri. All told she has trained hundreds of CNA’s and CMT’s how to treat their assigned residents with respect and dignity, while providing high-quality care, all administered with a pleasant smile. She considers it her goal to improve the lives of long term care residents one CNA at a time.
In her spare time Rhonda also obtained her BA in Management from Fontbonne University, and most recently her Masters in Public Health from Argosy University.
